Newbuild Shoppingcenter
The project Stadtgalerie Hameln is a shopping centre
which is at the moment in the planning phase. Directly
in the city centre, situated in the historical horse
market, the city gallery with approx. 20,000 m²
commercial area is being built. The developer and
operator of the property is the ECE from Hamburg.
The particular challenge with this project consists
in integrating the monument-protected baroque facade
as well as the roof into the new building. According
to present planning state it is intended to set
up on a surface of about 13,100 m² a 3-storey
centre arrangement with about 90 stores and a whole
selling area of about 19,000 m². Parking lot
should be realized in the second and third upper
floor. On account of the Wesernähe and the connected
buildings much attention is paid to the excavation
and the foundation being laid. The commercial areas
a iron-concrete construction and the park levels
lying on top count as a group construction. With
this project IB Scheven was used for the wing unit
planning, the execution-technical quality control
and the shell building

Märkisches Zentrum, Berlin,
Germany
The existing
shopping center "Märkisches Zentrum" in
Berlin-Reinickendorf, with an area of 55,000 m²,
was rebuilt, modernized and expanded. A self-service
warehouse, additional roofing of passages and a
movie theater were constructed as well as an underground
garage and the reconstruction and expansion of the
building. We did the calculations and the construction
for this building plan.

The Springer Publisher Project
includes the exchange of the now situated illuminated
sign in the Kochstr. in Berlin, with an almost 5
m high and 50 m long video screen. All of the planning

The project consists of a new housing estate construction
in Berlin. The planning of the supporting framework
and the construction we made for 32 apartments with
underground garage. This consists of a 4 - 6 storey
brickwork building with a reinforced concrete ceiling.
The underground garage provides double parking lots.

The project Witzlebenstraße-Berlin is a renovation
and rebuilding plan. The court is being altered
for residential purposes and expanded with underground
parking and court buildings. It has a construction
volume of approx. 10 mil. € building costs
with 10,000 m² living space and nearly
100 parking lots. Scheven engineering provides
for the static calculations in all phases, the
fire prevention-technical and sound insulation-technical
verification as well as the heat insulation verifications

Hotel for the Sol Melia in Frankfurt/Main is in
the construction phase. This concerns a 4-star
hotel. Start of con-struction with the excavation
was in March 2002. The building consists of an
underground garage, ground floor and six further
floors. This project is conducted as a reinforced
con-crete and massive construction.
